i loved this love-themed wall hanging called everyday i love you art print by sugarboo designs {above}. while i was there, i found so many other products i "LOVE"... and though they are not valentine's-day-themed, they are still appropriate, as they are things that make me happy when i think about using them in the baby's room... a place i'll be spending lots of time... a place that is sure to be filled with love. and they each also fit under the wall decor category.
first is this carte postal burlap corkboard! {below}
i can so see it in the baby's room... to hold parenting magazines, photos of baby, reminders... whatever! i could also see it in the office or kitchen. isn't it fun? i have to admit, i can't justify spending the money for it... but maybe some day i can make something similar.
okay, next are these vintage bird prints on burlap.
it's actually just the one on the right that i want. "sweet vintage birds" is the theme i am choosing for my baby room, so this wall hanging would be perfect in there. in fact, the colors of the room will be orange, cream, white and chocolate brown... but there will dashes of green, black and beige, too. so i'm really liking this piece for the room.
okay, the next three images are sweet wallpaper prints that i could also see in the room. we rent, so wallpaper is not an option. but a mama can still dream, right?
though these are butterflies instead of birds, i still loved the vintagey and sweet feel.
wasn't really looking for blue in the room, but i still love this print/pattern!
okay, i think this is so darn adorable... and what i really love is the name of this wallpaper print
{see below}, as it is one of the names i have wanted to choose for baby if it's a girl!
well, that's it from modern chic home for now.
but before i go, i just wanted to share one more thing... and this is valentine's day related. rather than re-explain the magnets i am posting below {from 15000refrigerators.com}, i'll just provide a link to my photo blog post where i posted about them originally. in today's jorjah-b post, i am only showing the heart-themed magnets... for obvious reasons. but there are so many more to see and enjoy and buy... especially since they are each ONLY $2.99!
{okay, that second one is not a heart... but it's pink and frilly and perfect for v. day in that regard.}
